Willie H Parsons served with distinction in the United States Army during World War II, demonstrating extraordinary courage and dedication on the battlefield. His military service earned him numerous honors, including the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, and World War II Victory Medal. He was further recognized with the American Defense Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with one silver service star, and the Combat Infantryman Badge (1st Award). His skill and marksmanship were acknowledged through the Expert Infantryman Badge and the Sharpshooter Badge with Rifle Bar. Parsons also proudly wore the Honorable Service Lapel Button in recognition of his honorable wartime service. His legacy reflects the valor and sacrifice of the Greatest Generation.
