Forty auxiliaries participated in this category, distributing 36,201 poppies across 29 events
Buddy Poppy Display won first at State Convention
The VFW Auxiliary Department in North Carolina
consists of 74 groups with a total of 6,872 members.
Post-1142 was the first of 41 participating groups in this year's membership drive.
This first-place award (out of 36) recognizes receipt of health certification.
Forty-six auxiliary groups across the state participated in this category.
With 49 participating groups, Post 1142 came in second.
