Flagpole Memorial Dedication

The Mountain Park Military Memorial holds the remains of 70 servicemen,

with the first burial dating back to May of 1864.

A Flagpole and Memorial Dedication Ceremony took place on June 9,2024 at Mountain Park Military Memorial, located on South Bridge Street in Wilkesboro. This ceremony honors the bravery and sacrifice of military personnel, while also commemorating the rich historical significance of the site.
