Larry Bailey's Story
Larry Toney Stevenson Bailey was born on July 24, 1946 in Wilkes County, North Carolina to Frank M. and Edna Carter Bailey. He served from May 1966 to May 1968 in the Vietnam Conflict.
In his civilian career, Larry worked as a loan officer for First Union Bank, Wilkesboro Branch, promoted to branch manager before retiring. Larry Bailey also served as pastor of Beluah Presbyterian Church.
Rev. Larry Bailey enjoyed playing saxophone and singing at his church.
Rev. Larry T.S. Bailey Sr. succumbed to cancer on August 19, 2013 and was buried at Mountlawn Memorial Park in North Wilkesboro, NC with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1142
