Wilkes County Human Library: Libraries are for everyone

The Human Library is very much like a regular library where people go to check out books. The only difference is that the books are all human volunteers that can be 'borrowed' for conversation.

The books, displays, and activities at our local libraries should reflect the diversity of all of the patrons.  No person shall on the basis of; race, sex, creed, cultural background or national origin, heritage, education, beliefs, income, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or physical or mental capabilities, be excluded from participation in the programs, activities, or benefits of nor be denied full access to the facilities Wilkes County Public Library.
