Wilkes County Human Library: Sheree Sloop - Lady of the Labyrinth

The Human Library is very much like a regular library where people go to check out books. The only difference is that the books are all human volunteers that can be 'borrowed' for conversation.

The labyrinth at St Paul's Episcopal Church (Wilkesboro, NC) is a replica of the one at Chartres Cathedral.

A labyrinth is an ancient symbol used for walking meditation. The labyrinth at St. Paul's Coventry Chapel is open to the community as a place to "quiet the mind, soothe the soul, and mend the heart." You walk the labyrinth by following the red brick path. In its center, pause to read the Coventry Litany of Reconciliation. To exit the labyrinth, reverse your path and walk back to the beginning and into your daily life once again.
