The gas giants Jupiter and Saturn are two of the more famous planets in our solar system, as well as the biggest. These two giants are easily seen in the night sky with the naked eye and are breathtaking when viewed with a telescope or high quality binoculars. Gas giants are so named because they consist of fairly small icy cores compared to their large gaseous atmospheres. Enjoy this week's kit highlighting our two giant neighbors.
