Warren Whittington was born on August 4, 1946. Whittington served in the US Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969. During this time he served at Camp Lejeune, Guantanamo Bay, and Okinawa.
He earned a Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, a Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, a Sharpshooter badge, and a Purple Heart.
