Builds homes with/for low-income families with volunteer labor. Homes are sold to eligible applicants at no profit, no interest mortgages. Potential homeowners must contribute at least 500 hours of labor toward building of home. Also has ReStores, selling donated items to support their work.

Catherine H. Barber Memorial Homeless Shelter at Crossfire United Methodist Church

Current hours are 6:30pm to 6:30am. The shelter serves men, women, and families with children. Offers beds, shower facilities, food, and a laundry machine free of charge. Managers will provide clients information regarding permanent housing, food security, job placement, counseling services, and other resources.
