Keeping Track

The program keeps track of all the minutes a reader spends reading and notifies him or her when prizes are won for reading achievement. This is an OPTIONAL opportunity to track reading for the Summer Reading Program. Paper trackers are available at the Youth Services desk.

Summer Reading 2023: All Together Now

Summer Reading Starts June 2nd and ends July 28th!

How the Summer Reading Program works:

Track your minutes each day, week, or whatever works for you. For every 100 minutes (or 50 minutes for our pre-k readers ages 0-5), stop by the library to pick a prize!

Participants who read beyond their age group goal (400 or 800 minutes) will receive raffle tickets to put toward even more prizes at the end of the summer! Stay tuned for more information!

Summer Reading Goals:

Pre-k: from birth to age 5: 400 minutes for the summer - for every 50 minutes read, you get a prize! Up to 8 prizes.

Children: ages 6-12: 800 minutes for the summer - for every 100 minutes read, you get a prize! Up to 8 prizes.

Teens: ages 13-18: 800 minutes for the summer - for every 100 minutes read, you get a prize! Up to 8 prizes.
